My Thoughts on 09/06/09

“Love is like drinking beer…

Once you have too much of it,

You begin to act stupid…”

A friend sent me this text message a few days beforehand. Well, I guess it’s somehow true. They say, too much of everything won’t do you any good and that everything needs to be in moderate. But, does this also apply to Love? I mean, wouldn’t it be great to give everything for the sake of Love? Jesus was crucified because he loves us. Romeo killed himself because he thought his one love, Juliet, is dead. And didn’t Edward try to expose himself to the human world in exchange that the Volturi would murder him on the spot, because he thought Bella jumped off the cliff and died? Are these acts considered stupid?

If you were to look at yourself in the mirror and asked; “What wouldn’t you give to finally feel a love you know that is worth dying for?” If you have someone you love right now, what are the things you already did for that person, and what are the other things you would be willing to do or willing to sacrifice again and again just so you won’t lose that person? I know this post has got more questions than answers, but if you search your soul and look deep in your heart, I’d say that if love is like drinking beer, well, I’d choose to be drunk all my life… just a thought… J

solitude

It's hard to force things to happen your own way. My body feels so tired but my mind keeps floating along thoughts that has long left my brain, my heart pumps oxygen through my blood but my soul is as broken as ever. I know I'll wake up tomorrow for another day, but still the same routine. What is left to be with a solitary being like me? There are things in this world that's hard to get, there are things that don't make sense but we continue to trod upon it. These words may not mean anything to you, you may realize it or never will, but these words are like puzzle pieces of a tired heart that needs rest.

next in line

There you go again just passing me by,
My heart starts to flutter,
My mind starts to fly,
I look at you just walking away,
Deeply wishing you'll be mine someday.

Your smile I knew was never meant for me,
That sweet look in your eyes,
is for someone else you want to see,
You belong to somebody else I so want to be.

If only you could just turn around,
To see me standing behind you,
Won't you just please look around,
And realiza a love so true.

Though I know in painful reality,
That in my dreams is the only place you'll ever stay,
So I would just wait here next in line,
Even if it takes a million lifetime...
